Ah, don't you mean that you would consider it a placement on YOUR field service report???
Botched up question, I guess. - I was asked to go to the WTS website and download the latest offerings.
Now then, would that constitute a placement for the JW asking and confirming with me to have done so?

What Changed? I Did. You Did. (or, there is a reason Apostates are angry)
by AllTimeJeff in(for the purposes of this post, i want to say that being angry, though a real emotion, is not healthy if it continues to fester inside you.
i think anger is reasonable if it helps you to move on from point a to point b. in addition, because of the real issues anger can bring, if you feel that after many years you are still angry over your jw experience, i strongly encourage therapy.
long term anger is destructive to the individual).

WRATH and its close cousin ANGER
1. ANGER - (Greek, "orge")a. "Indignation which has arisen gradually and become more settled" - THAYER
b. "ORGE suggests a more settled or abiding condition of mind, frequently with a view to taking revenge" - VINEc. Anger, then, is a lingering, seething emotion
2. WRATH - (Greek, "thumos")
a. "The sudden outburst of passionate anger" - ZONDERVAN PICTORIAL ENCYCLOPEDIA OF THE BIBLE
b. "The blaze of temper which flares into violent words and deeds, and just as quickly dies" - BARCLAYc. Today we would call this "blowing off steam"

WT Lexicon
by 00DAD ini was thinking it would be helpful if we put together a wt lexicon for those that are not too familiar with wt terminology.
it's important for them to understand these theocratic expressions so that they too can understand and speak the "pure language" of truth.

Were there 2 witnesses when you were DFd?
by FatFreek 2005 inof the some 70,000 disfellowshippings each year (some 1% of the membership) most were for sexual misconduct.
of these, i think i'm safe to say that very few were witnessed by a third party.
that means that both participants had to voluntarily confess in order to satisfy their 2-witness rule.. know of any that didn't meet this rule?.

blondie: "... two people stay overnight alone under the same roof without a chaperone"
Not so according to the new ks10 book.
Last public transportation gone, bad weather, husband out the door unexpectedly, etc. and you are all set.
And what about that preoccupation with nightly visits - What? No one does do the deed any more when the "light gets brighter"?

is getting a blood transfusion in itself a DF offense?
by oompa ini know if you join the military it is considered that you have dissassociated yourself...but if you are in an accident and are given blood when you are unconcious...is that in itself reason for df?
or what if you willingly accepted a blood transfusion?
what if you do not show remorse or repentance or even refuse to meet with the elders?
-
bats in the belfry
No.
The documents are still online - check them out.
Without the head honchos in NY giving it the thumbs up there never would have been an amicable settlement. In respect of the refusal of blood transfusion, the applicant association submits that while this is part of the religious doctrine of Jehovah's Witnesses, its acceptance depends on the personal choice of the individual concerned. There are no religious sanctions for a Jehovah's Witness who chooses to accept blood transfusion. Therefore, the fact that the religious doctrine of Jehovah's Witnesses is against blood transfusion cannot amount to a threat to "public health", every individual being free in his or her choice.

by Alfred inwow, it's hard to believe it's already been about a year since this subject was covered in the wt study at kindgom halls around the globe... let's read it just one more time, so we don't forget just how ridiculous this sounded when we first read it.... watchtower (study edition), april 15th, 2010 issue, pages 27-29:.
"this magazine has long been used by the faithful and discreet slave as the primary channel for dispensing increased light.
... what does this explanation mean to us?
